Safety for our Employees
Railroad safety is always top-of-mind at TC&W. Our employees have regular safety training to educate them on how to work safely which helps maintain a safe work environment. The TC&W safety training helps keep our rail operations and employees safe and incident free.
Safety for our Community – Operation Lifesaver
TC&W has been involved with Operation Lifesaver since 1993. Operation Lifesaver is an International non-profit organization that educates and speaks to all organizations about rail safety. The program is designed to eliminate collisions, deaths, and injuries at highway-rail intersections and on railroad rights-of-way. It is sponsored cooperatively by a wide variety of partners, including federal, state and local government agencies, highway safety and transportation organizations, and the nation’s railroads.
TC&W Offers Free Railroad Safety Presentations
