Sisseton Milbank Railroad Company (SMRC) operates 37 miles of track between Milbank and Sisseton, South Dakota.
SMRR serves the communities of Sisseton, Peever, Wilmot and Corona, SD. Major commodities handled on SMRC include wheat, corn, soybeans, fertilizers and plastics. SMRC has transload sites available, with good access to local highways and Interstate 29. Twin Cities & Western Railroad Company (TC&W) acquired and began operating SMRC in July of 2012 and SMRC now operates as a subsidiary of TC&W.
